Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 June 2026

GlazeBench ("we", "the app") is a tool for building glaze recipes and logging kiln firings. This policy explains what we collect and why. In short: your recipes belong to you, and we collect as little as possible.

What we store on your device

Your recipes, batches, firing logs, and photos are stored locally on your device by default. They never leave the device unless you enable optional iCloud sync or export them yourself.

What we sync (only if you turn it on)

If you enable sync, your recipe and firing data is stored in your private Firebase account so it can appear on your other devices. It is not shared with other users and is not used for advertising.

Sign-in

You can use GlazeBench as a guest, or sign in with Apple or Google to enable sync. When you sign in we receive only your account identifier and, if you share it, your email address. We use these solely to identify your account and its synced data.

What we collect automatically

We do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive a purchase receipt to unlock Pro features but never see your payment details.

Your rights

You can export or delete all of your data from Settings → Delete account at any time (see how to delete your account). To request a copy of any synced data, email privacy@glazebench.app.

Children

GlazeBench is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
